We built an incredibly simple-to-use blog platform right into every City Gates website, to make it as easy as possible to connect with your community. Every ministry or group can have as many blogs as you'd like, and anyone you choose can be a blog author. Every blog automatically produces RSS feeds, and you can allow or moderate comments as you like.
Everyone loves photos. When it comes to helping church members feel in the know about what's going on at church, they're worth a thousand bulletin announcements. That's why we include unlimited photo galleries for every ministry or group at your church. Upload as many as you like, organize them into sets, and show the world just how fascinating your church is. Podcasting is absurdly simple with your City Gates site. Simply upload an audio file, give it a name and description, and you're done! Every ministry or group can start one, and there's no limitation on the number or frequency of your episodes. All podcasts have built-in RSS feeds and are integrated with iTunes.
There's more than just sermon podcasting here - City Gates has simple, built-in ways to showcase a sermon series or specific talk. Upload images and descriptions of each sermon, series, or service, and include descriptions or teasers about what's coming up. Simply upload your notes, audio, or video after the sermon, and it'll be automatically integrated into your podcasts and archives.
Every ministry or group can create events on their own calendar using our simple events creator. We take all those events and automatically add them to a church-wide calendar, so it's always easy for people to get an idea of what's going on at church this week.
Every ministry or group has their own homepage which can be customized to their hearts' content. They can add widgets that show the latest content from the site, like blog posts, upcoming events, and recent photos. Check out the video demo to see just how simple it is! (demo coming soon)
Every ministry or group can upload files to their area of the site - files like PDFs, Word documents, or anything else. There are no restrictions on file types, no file storage limits, and no bandwidth constraints. Period.
