City Gates is a hosted content management system, which means that all updates are made online. You can make changes on the go: upload a podcast from the coffeeshop, blog from your iPhone, post photos while you're on the ski trip. City Gates is available when you are.

Every ministry or group can upload files to their area of the site - files like PDFs, Word documents, or anything else. There are no restrictions on file types, no file storage limits, and no bandwidth constraints. Period.
RSS is a format for collecting and distributing web content, like blog posts, podcast episodes, and photos. Users subscribe to a specific feed, and web content is automatically delivered to them. We've built RSS feeds for nearly every part of the site - just another way City Gates helps your community stay connected.
It's super easy to manage users with your City Gates website. Your ministry workers simply sign up for an account, and then you assign them an area of the site to contribute to. Control is flexible and fine-grained: you can allow users to control an entire ministry, or just a blog, photo gallery, calendar, etc. Church-wide administrators can still change anything on the whole site, so there's no worry about editorial control.
